A sad moment for the crafty lady

I suppose I knew it was coming. I mean how long do boys really want their moms to sew stuff for them?
It still came as a shock when my sweet 6 year old told me, matter of fact, "I hate what you make."
uh....okay. Great.
I had made him pajama pants. And he hated them.
But you know what buddy? For that snarky comment you get to wear those pj's until middle school!!
Take that hater.

  1. Oh no! My son (who is also 6) doesn't want the cutesy stuff I make. He wants big boy stuff. Nowadays, I'm a little more mindful of that.

  4. Oh sad! :-( If it makes you feel better, Forrest hates most of what I make him, too. At least he's not old enough to say it yet, though . . .

  5. I love that boy! I still remember when he said he didn't want to sit by me, because he didn't like immodest ladies. He cracks me up! At least you've still got the girls.
