Because my kiddos are on the smallish side they sometimes have difficult time keeping their backpacks in the right spot. And because I'm a bit of a simpleton cheapskate, I don't buy fancy backpacks with chest straps. (Awful aren't I) I figure I can make the "extras" myself. (and this is what gets me into all my scheduling trouble)
Backpack chest straps=easiest/quickest project of all time!
I went ahead and drafted a pattern out of some card stock that was 4 inches by the width of the paper (never mind the lovely picture underneath sporting the 4x8 inch measurements). Then round the corners on one end of the template....it should look like this:
I have a snap press....most folks don't but never fear. You can also use plastic buckles! Hooray for options!!
Those are so much cuter than the backpacks with chest straps anyway!
