It was a nice thought

There's this dress on Anthro that I thought was just lovely. Nice and billowy.
Perfect for cinching with a pretty belt. Personally though, I have a really hard
time buying dresses because I look at them and I think to myself, "self,
I might be able to make something just like that" to which I respond, "yes,
and for half the cost! Do it!"

Poor husband was asked the question, "how does my new dress look?" To
which he replied (reluctantly), "Well sweetie.....it sort of looks like a robe."
Ya, I suppose it sort of does. Poor guy. That was a loaded question I think.

Oh well. Maybe next time.

  1. Poor husbands that have to deal with us and our loaded questions :)! Anyways, it is a very cute hospital gown with a belt!

  2. Haha! Maybe the pictures don't do it justice--I don't think it's that bad! At any rate, the look on your face in the first picture is priceless--I know exactly how a flopped sewing project feels.

  3. I'm impressed. I can't sew a straight line to save my life. I don't think it looks bad either...actually I think it's pretty cute. :)
