A Diaper and a Bag

Being done with the pregnancy thing definitely has it's perks: no bulging belly, swollen feet, nausea, back pain. I won't be experiencing that anymore. There are some really wonderful things however, that I will miss a lot. I always loved feeling my babies move around and the power that I felt in being apart of something so creative! I'm not going to lie, I also really enjoyed preparing and shopping for each of our new little bundles. So now anytime I'm invited to a baby shower, I tend to go a little nuts. These two items were a present for one of the cutest little prego ladies ever. A cloth diaper (cause she's crazy like that) and a bag to throw said diaper into!
(I'm really digging the Amy Butler print....isn't it soooo pretty?!)

So, while I won't have the opportunity to shop/sew for my own pregnant self anymore, I still plan on getting my fix sewing for my prego friends!!

  1. Wow, this is the nicest diaper bag I've seen! It doesn't even look like it's for a new mommy, just a nice stylish bag. If you're looking for another place to share your awesome sewing projects, stop by Etcetorize . Hope to see you there!

  2. I'd sure love a tutorial on this darling bag! I'm a new mom myself and I'm having a terrible time finding a diaper bag that isn't massive but has several pockets to keep us organized. It looks like you've got just what I need!

  8. That is one fantabulous gift!!! I'd love to know if it's your own pattern/s and if you are willing to share (via a tutorial or some such). Oh, and the "tinkle here" had me laughing so much my Mum (who is visiting to look after the boys when my baby is born) came in and wanted to know what it was all about. :)
